Thejkumar M. S. is India's 50th grandmaster and the first from Karnataka. He earned the title in September 2017, at 36, after years of steady rating growth and six norms. His FIDE rating peaked at 2500 (FIDE ID 5009154).
In June 2018, he won the Karnataka State Level Open Rapid tournament with a perfect 9/9 score. Before that, he represented Southwestern Railway at rating tournaments across India and abroad.
At Archer Chess Academy, he continues to shape the future of chess through his mentorship and leadership.

My Sanchi has been Learning Chess with ACA since she was 6 years and won Mumbai District Championship Under 6 Category. She has also won so many tournaments in his category and the interschool Chess Championship 2022, all thanks to ACA! Now She is preparing for Fide Rated Tournament, and ACA gives all details of the official tournament and guides from time to time.

It’s awesome. Initially, I thought only for two months, and I didn’t know whether my kid would like this or not. But now she has been learning for the last year and really enjoying the class and wants to continue till her goal. The Sunday tournament is a highlight, and it really helps kids to improve their gaming. The teaching and explanation of the class are awesome, and she is enjoying it.

Highly recommend this program. My 4 year old started in October of 2025 and I have seen so much improvement in her way of thinking and approach to the game.
